It is a novelty on world markets to cover ceramic glass with a mirror coat in order to improve the appearance of modern heaters and fireplaces. Such a finish assures aesthetic appearance of a fireplace when we do not use it. At present, glass with a silver mirror-image is produced. The inside of the fireplace remains invisible until the fire is lighted and then it becomes completely transparent as ordinary ceramic glass. Such a modern glass panel constitutes excellent masking for troublesome soot and combustion residues of wood.
